In future, it must be ensured that in an emergency someone can actually be reached around the clock. Without reliable two-way communication, lift operations are threatened with closure. The regulation will take effect from the beginning of 2021, with no transition periods. But how can such an emergency service be technically ensured?

Operators have the choice between a fixed line or a mobile connection. The investment in a mobile phone solution is less expensive and pays for itself more quickly. The installation effort is also lower. The decisive factor is the use of the right antenna.
