WiCAR^® is suited for a wide range of vehicles including passenger cars and caravans. Or also trucks, mini vans, police and fire brigade vehicles, rescue services and municipal administration vehicles.

WiCAR^® can be installed retroactively in any vehicle. The product is being delivered with a mounting kit and a handbook. We recommend installation by a garage. 

You can connect internal or external antennas (LTE, GPS, WiFi). Moreover, there are connections for Ethernet, USB and MicroSD.

Yes. You can extend the storage (MicroSD, USB). We offer the upgrade as a service at extra cost.

The differences lie primarily in the features (such as internal storage, number of possible WiFi users, down and upload speeds, number of modems and type of built-in WiFi antennas).

This update brings stability updates in the mobile network connection and the Wifi repeater function.Now the Wifi repeater doens't need to be switched off to route the internet traffic over the modems again.

This Update activates the battery guard function of the WiCAR^®. It is now possible to setup a warning power level. The WiCAR^® will send a notification if the power level fells under this warning level. Additional it is now possible to setup a critical power level which puts the WiCAR^® into the standby mode to save the battery for deep uncharging. One other important update is the activation of the power check on one additional pin of the power supply socket. It is possible to define a standard power level (no power / power activated) and the WiCAR^® will send a notification if this standard changed (e.g. from no power to power activated). The current power cable needs to be updated with one additional cable to use this new function. You can contact us via our contact form if you are interested in this new cable.
